More good news came out last week as it was announced that Fiji entry rules would be eased for all vaccinated international travellers looking to visit.
According to Fijian authorities, these relaxed Fiji entry rules go into immediate effect following their announcement and the subsequent update from the FCDO to the Foreign Travel Advice page, which read, “Persons arriving in Fiji no longer require a pre-booked Covid-19 test. All visitors to Fiji must be fully vaccinated, this includes Fijian citizens.”
These relaxed Fiji entry rules mean that travellers 16 years old and above who have received their second Covid vaccine of an approved program will no longer be required to pre-book or take a Covid test on arrival in Fiji.
Unvaccinated travellers are still not allowed entry to Fiji at this time. Still, these new rules allow vaccinated travellers greater ease when looking to travel to Fiji, with far less pre-travel measures to go through.
A statement was released on the Fiji Travel website last week to reflect the changes in entry rules for all vaccinated international travellers. This statement reads, “Fiji offers quarantine-free travel to fully vaccinated travellers from all over the world.
“We’ve simplified our entry requirements further to make it even easier to plan a holiday here.
“Simply show evidence of the following at check-in before your departure flight: proof of full vaccination for all travellers aged 16 years and over, and travel insurance.”
